Floor Polishing and painting

Period floors can be stripped and polished in a traditional way to maintain the patination. The pictures from left to right are:

A floor at a Georgian manor house.

Greenway Manor, all the floors in the house were polished.

Greenway Manor. The painted floor was done using a Farrow and Ball floor paint in a colour to match the distemper on the walls.

Floor at a church at Lullington village. It was Polished for the organ which was being restored.
